Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth feed explained for Piko

There are six ways to obtain a total of six greens as food for Piko during the mission “Preparing for the Race”, however, you only need three greens to continue the story. The other three green ones can be used to purchase Esther’s Gi Chocobo Gear set. You may want to consider purchasing it for completion reasons, as you’ll soon see that all Chocobo Gear actually has benefits for racing, and the Gi set is a solid choice for the next story race if you haven’t purchased any others. You can’t spend these three extra greens anywhere else and you can’t feed Piko more than three, so we recommend completing all of Piko’s feeding tasks if you want to purchase the Gi Gear. However, just doing the three easiest tasks will make the story move much faster, if that’s all you’re after.

From the easiest activities to the most difficult (or most time-consuming), here is all the information on Piko locations in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth:

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Feed for Piko Location 1

The first information about Piko’s location is the three thugs found near the Queen’s Blood players in the north central part of Corel Prison. Are these the ‘Stalkers?’ submission.

To take the green off the thugs, walk all the way to the right and enter the house at the end, through the chest. He then crawls through the gap in the wall to fight the trio. You will get the green one after defeating the three thugs.

The second source for Piko’s location is the truth and lie minigame in the southeastern part of Corel Prison, on the path behind the weapon and item sellers. This is the ‘Scam Seminar’ subquest.

To get the green for Piko from Conniving Caglio, you must find out who is telling the truth among the five people numbered in front of him. Visiting locations and investigating who the liars are can take a while, but we’ve included the answer in the spoiler tags below to speed up the process.

The person telling the truth in Swindling Seminar is person number four: Squinty Rachel. This is because there is, in fact, a picture of the dog Stamp on the wall of Gus’s compound.

The third source for Piko’s location in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the Bail Jumper waiter in the north central part of Corel Prison, across from the three thugs and the Queen’s Blood players. This is the subquest ‘The Waiter’s Abandoned Garden’.

To get the waiter’s green, you must chase the Cactuar located beyond the door next to the crowd with a megaphone at the north end of Corel Prison. We recommend running past as many enemies as you can while hunting the Cactuar, as it is not necessary to fight all of them. However, there are chests along the route, so keep an eye out for them!

At the end of the hunt you will face a group of Cactuars that can kill Cloud instantly if you are not careful, so we recommend equipping any accessories or ATB Up Materia you have before starting the fight. Then, at the beginning of the battle with the Cactuars, increase your ATB gauge as soon as possible and unleash Triple Slash when you can. Cactuar are weak to abilities, and Triple Slash is Cloud’s best at dealing with the crowd of Cactuar quickly.

The fourth feed of the Piko location is the Desert Rush minigame found in the shop of the same name, in the western part of Solemnitude Manor. The subquest is also called ‘Desert Rush’.

You need to get at least 15,000 points playing Desert Rush to get the green as a reward for reaching Rank 1. Desert Rush is very similar to the crate destruction minigame in Remake, with point and time extension frames. However, this time you must also take into account the gearboxes and shock absorbers.

Large gearboxes can only be destroyed after the red lightning symbols turn green after breaking the corresponding crash box. The shock boxes are also large and have a lightning bolt symbol. You must also press separate elevator gears (which are not boxes) to go up or down levels and find more boxes.

We recommend saving your ATB charges to use Braver on the larger boxes.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Feed for Piko Location 5

The fifth source of Piko’s location is in the Beast Battleground underground area, which is located down the stairs in the southeast corner of Corel Prison, just below the Swindling Seminar location. The subquest is also called “Beast Battleground”.

To get the green sand, you must complete the first three combat challenges. To prepare you for the fights that await you, here are the enemies you will face and how to defeat them:

  • Sylkis Cup Round 1: Field of Nightmares: Two Ignilisks and a Prairie Wolf. These are weak, so simply using Cloud’s Braver or Triple Slash abilities between normal attacks should end the fight quickly.
  • Sylkis Cup Round 2: Harbinger of Ruin – One Bagnadrana. He is weak to ice and attacks from behind will not deal damage, so hit him from the front or with long-range abilities and attacks. However, he can pin Cloud from the front, so he tries to dodge when possible.
  • Sylkis Cup Round 3: Unknown Bug – Trial 0. He is weak to shooting and you can also pressure him while he is in the “Play Dead” state and dodging or countering his attacks. They are a very fast enemy, so be careful, you may not have time to cast Fire before they interrupt you. So dodging and countering his attacks until he plays dead is the best strategy.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Feed for Piko Location 6

The final source for Piko’s location in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the three Queen’s Blood players in the north central part of Corel Prison, in the small shelter near the three thugs and in front of the Bail Jumper bar. You can pick up the ‘Peculiar Card Players’ subquest from the Card Collector in House of Cards in the southern part of Corel Prison.

Here are photos of where to find the Card Collector:

As you may have guessed, to get the green ones from this subquest, you need to beat the three Queen’s Blood players in the shelter. However, they only have rank 3, so they don’t have the best cards available. However, if you need more cards for your deck, you can purchase booster packs from Card Collector.

Now that you have the six green ones for the Preparing for the Race mission, it’s time to return to Piko and give him three of the green ones. You can also spend the remaining three greens with Esther to buy the Gi Chocobo gear if you want.

Good luck during your first Chocobo race!
