Destiny 2 Disparity god roll and drop location

Disparity is a legendary pulse rifle in Destiny 2, added to loot during the Season of the Seraphim.

This is a 450 rounds per minute (RPM) stasis weapon, making it one of the fastest firing archetypes for its weapon class.

This page will detail how to get Disparity in Destiny 2 and what set of perks add up to a God of Disparity roll.

How to get disparity in Destiny 2

Disparity is a weapon of the Season of the Seraphim. It can be found as a random drop from certain activities, focused from Umbral engrams, and crafted.

To find a random disparity, you’ll need to play Season of the Seraph’s seasonal content. This means Heist: Battlegrounds and seasonal missions like Operation: Seraph’s Shield. Whether Disparity drops or not is a matter of luck, but you can increase your chances of success by using Seraph Keycodes at the end of the Heist Battlegrounds playlist to open a second chest, doubling your loot.

The HELM Exo-Frame can also focus threshold engrams on the disparity for you. You’ll first need to earn some Exo-Frame modules by completing seasonal challenges and then purchase the Seraphic Weapon Focusing upgrade. Once you’ve done so, you can now spend a Umbral Engram, some Legendary Shards, and some Seraphic Umbral Energy to focus your disparity.

Crafting is the best option, as it only requires a few very common materials and allows you to personally choose perks and traits for your god role. To create Disparity, you must first collect the pattern. This is done by completing Deepsight Resonance extractions at five different disparities. Deep vision disparities can be found by random drops. You can also spend another Exo-Frame module to unlock the Focusing Deepsight upgrade on Exo-Frome. This will ensure that the first season of the Seraph weapon you focus from an Umbral Engram each week is Profound.

The Season of the Depths is here along with the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to go fishing! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedule!

God of Disparity Roll Recommendation in Destiny 2

Disparity mixes a high rate of fire with a forceful four-shot burst. The trade-off is a noticeable amount of recoil. This recoil is actually a useful feature that can be advantageous if used correctly. Disparity has a predictable vertical draw, and learning to aim for the center of the targets torso means the draw will send the last few rounds of each burst into the target’s head.

A perfect version of Disparity, or ‘God Roll’, relies on this finer shooting technique and uses it to constantly increase damage.

Here’s our recommended Disparity God roll in Destiny 2:

  • Corkscrew fluting
  • tactical mag
  • Outlaw
  • head finder

In most cases, Arrowhead Break is the favorite, but in this case the additional recoil control is not useful. Instead, the Corkscrew Rifling’s increased range, handling, and stability help maintain accurate shooting from greater distances.

Tactical Mag adds an additional four-round burst to the magazine. It also adds more stability and speeds up reloads, perfect for keeping Disparity firing.

Outlaw is one of the best traits for an accurate weapon like a pulse rifle. Precision kills greatly increase reload speed. As long as you can shoot, you can replenish your weapon quickly. Combine that with the additional burst and reload speed of the Tactical Mag, and Disparity can fire with minimal downtime.

Kill Clip isn’t a bad option, but Headseeker fits perfectly with Disparity. With this trait, performing a body slam will increase precision damage for a short period. If you use Disparity the right way, aiming for the center of mass and allowing it to lift the final rounds of each burst into a precision shot, then this will trigger almost constantly, for a persistent damage buff.

As usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and add the option for a kill tracker.
